A LITTLE BIT ABOUT Dr. Teneycke

For starters, let me assure you that my last name is easier to say than you might think; it is ten-IKE, just like van Dyke. Feel free to give it a try or you can also call me Tricia.

I grew up in Canada and moved to Seattle in 1999 to attend graduate school. It didn’t take me long to love the city, the people I met here, and all the opportunities there were for being outdoors and enjoying the arts.

In 2017, I left a core faculty position at Antioch University in order to pursue full-time clinical work. I’m grateful for the opportunities that I had to study and to the generations who came before me who helped me to get here. To be given the opportunity to get to know my clients and witness the changes they have made in their lives has been for me a true blessing.

When not working, I’m a big fan of encaustic painting, neurographica, soul collage, meditation, riding my bike, gardening, and cooking.
